Ouch

I took a nosedive into some rocks while attempting a flat drop on a bit of trail near Guisborough. No idea what went wrong, it's an easy manoeuvre on an easy bit of trail.

I blame my rain-soaked and steamed up glasses for making me mis-time the jump, and it was those same glasses that took a big chunk of flesh out of my nose. Grazed my chin, bust my top lip (lucky I didn't break a tooth), and bruised & scraped my shoulder, upper arm, elbow & thigh too. Fortunately did no damage that won't heal fairly quickly. I went straight back and did the drop again, successfully second time around.
